GEORGE hosted a three-part webinar series in May-June 2026 focusing on the data practices of EMSO, Euro-Argo, and ICOS. Each session covered one RI and provides an overview of how data is produced, processed, stored, and made accessible within that organisation. They also included hands-on exercises and detailed instructions on how to navigate the respective data portals, use different data processing tools and handle common challenges.
The webinars were designed to help researchers, technicians, stakeholders and anyone interested in marine RI data to better understand the data practices of the RIs. The edited recordings are available now on the project’s Youtube channel. Later in 2026, they will be a part of the extensive learning materials that will be published on the GEORGE online training platform.
